  Very nice people, but limit English, and my non-existent Croatian or German was annoying, though the place and people were perfectly nice and helpful as can be. The owners soon speaks fine English, and his father, with whom I dealt more w a good ho.

The apartment is only a 2-minute walk from Portarata (the golden gate), but there's absolutely no noise to be heard, even though lively cafes are just around the corner.
