This is a truly magical place.Having stayed at the islands only hotel
previously this was a much better option. The family who own this
property are so kind, generous and helpful.Small gifts of homemade plum
or lemon cake would appear on our terrace freshly made from ingredients
to be found in the garden, though they were in no way obtrusive and we
were left entirely alone. The terrace that belongs to the superior
apartment is huge and offers magnificent views over the sea. You are

The accommodation overlooked the main town on the island and was within easy walking distance of the town and ferry for Dubrovnik and other islands. The apartment has a sea view balcony in the main bedroom and a terrace in the garden. Kitchen was well equipped with all you would need for cooking your own food. We were there just on the edge of the season so were slightly limited eating out but ate at a great beach cafe in the other village most days. There are loads of paths all over the island.
Great welcome and hospitality from Nik and Iris who very helpful with recommendations. Fantastic huge terrace with great views. Quiet and peaceful. No cars. Short stroll to beach or swim at the bottom of the stairs. Shop and ferry nearby. Nice walks across island. Good shower and well equipped kitchen with oven. Hint: maybe bring food from Dubrovnik supermarket at port to vary the self catering options as only small shop on island. We brought frozen squid etc with us.
Kolocep was lovely- very relaxing after dubrovnik. We had a really enjoyable couple of days pottering around the island, swimming and walking. The best part was the roof terrace of our studio which was right on the waterfront - perfect for reading reading in the afternoon and then a beer before dinner. Great.
The owners were really friendly and welcoming. They were able to arrange a private transfer for us for a reasonable price and even upgraded us to the one bed apartment as it was empty when we were staying. It was the perfect place to stay to relax on a peaceful island.
Superb quiet island with beautiful countryside and stunning views. Fantastic for getting away from everything. Apartment right by the sea in a great location. Basic, but all facilities you would need. Great owners who were friendly and helpful.
I really loved this place -- beautiful landscaping with every kind of tree and flower, and a nice view of the sea. Very quiet. The manager and owner are nice people. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Fantastic sea view from the huge private terrace. Very comfortable apartment located in a quiet area of the village but only 10 minutes walk away from the ferry. Would definitely stay here again.
excellent location on a beautiful island - perfect get away. great views of the harbour. hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. Would definitely return.
Very great location, 5 mn walk to the beach, and very quiet
accomodation. Perfect place to relax !.
Friendly owners, very relaxed atmosphere, great location, beautiful view!.
Well appointed.
Kolocep island, very quiet and some nice walks.
This is the tiniest of quibbles but the apartment needs a toaster.Feel
bad for even mentioning it.
Sea was a bit cold for me in mid May although my mum swam daily!
The shop on the island sells very limited food - you can get bread cheese ham and beer. If you plan to self cater you would need to buy food in Dubrovnik. There is a large supermarket right by the port though so this is not a problem!.
Island shop was very haphazard and had limited supplies. Have to be creative with the self catering.
The wireless only worked in spots on the terrace -- not a big deal for me, but could be for others.
The top apartment is 82 steps up -- again, not a problem for me but it could be for some.
Not a problem for me but could be for others as this apartment is 86 steps up! Quite dark in places at night so bring a torch if you intend to go out at night.
Nothing.
We had problems in this apartment, there were 85 steps up to it. The electricity is not wired properly, you get an electric shock when you touch the sink and the oven light comes on. Sink overflow pours water straight into kitchen cupboard, and the work tops are just balanced and not fixed.
