  It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly.   The best thing of all, and I think a little known secret is the rooftop terrace overlooking Dubrovnik. My husband and I would go up there at the end of 2 hot and sweaty days, and it was the perfect place to watch the sun set and the swallows swoop over that beautiful ancient city.   Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!
