We enjoyed all aspects of Hotel Kokoro. The staff is friendly and professional. The grounds, including the central check-in area, bungalows, restaurant are all incredible; not to mention the lit walkways to the pool and hot springs. We didn't get so much of a glimpse of the volcano but it didn't matter! It rained the entire two nights we were there but it was perfect to relax in the hot springs following a wet hike in the national park. Breakfast each day was delicious.
所有评语 » This was a great place for us to stay, central to a lot of the excursions we had planned. I thought it was wonderful how the staff gave us a tour of the facility and described things we should look for while on the property. One morning we left before breakfast was supposed to start, the staff was nice enough to make sure we had something to eat before we left. Would recommend this to anyone traveling to this area!. The mineral hot springs were a highlight for us and I would recommend these to anyone. As you sit there you enjoy spectacular views of flora and the sounds of exotic birds. Our friend even saw a toucan on the property. It's very well maintained, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the venue is not so large that you get lost in a crowd. You can definitely have privacy in this wonderful location. We went for our honney moon and stayed there a couple of nights. We were given a very nice cabin per our request. Also, our plans changed at last minute and had to cancel the last two nights but they were super helpful and took care of everything without havin to pay any penalties. Their breakfast is to die for!!! overall we enjoyed our stay and would deffinetly recommend it. We loved the environment and the staff! I arranged to be picked up from the airport, and when my flights were delayed for 3 hours they waited for us and greeted us with welcoming smiles. The breakfast was great! The service that we got and the help with activities were awesome!. Kokoro is a beautiful place with an amazing view of Volcano Arenal. The staff, especially, Fernando and Natalia, were very accommodating and helpful with all of our questions and requests. The hot springs pool was a major plus. I would definitely recommend Kokoro. Nice place for honeymoon, the best so far I have seen in Costa Rica. Tasty and big breakfast with view on volcano and classic music. The staff was amazing. If you have ever been to the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland, well, this is the real thing. The person at the desk was very friendly and informative. Also very helpful in finding good places to eat. Great service; beautiful gathering space and eating area open to nature; lovely pool area. Almost everything...service, food, cleanliness. location, breakfast, hot springs. The location, staff, food. Very helpful staff, although the information they provide is not always accurate. Nice garden and view. We stayed in a bungalow w/ two queens and a single. The mattress on the single was more like a box spring; very uncomfortable. Everything else was amazing. The bookings.com description says, "The Umami Restaurant serves Costa Rican dishes with Japanese twists." However, when we got there we were told only breakfast is served. There is no lunch or dinner. Wine, beer and drinks are available at all times. But, no food except breakfast. Misleading. Didn't have coffee in the room. Extensive cab rides to major activities, but this is true for all resorts in the area and many tours will pick you up. The thermal springs and hot tub were out of commission and one of the main reasons we booked there :(. cleanliness. Nothing. The room/furniture was a bit outdated. There is no menu for dinner, only one option each day. The rates are high compared to the quality.
