  Very nice hostel!!! Good english-speaking stuff, nice cozy room(we took room with 2 floors), hostel in a pedestrian area, in the most beautiful area in the town. Close to the lake and main train station(we came by walk). In the Smile cafe which in the next door from hostel all the guests have 20% discount.   The location is very good! It is located right inside the old village which is another tourist hotspot and a lot of good, traditional Hangzhou food with varying price range around. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. It is around 15 mins walk to Xi Hu. I will definitely stay here again if I go Hangzhou again!   We had a double room on the 2nd floor. No elevator, so you have to drag your luggage up. There is construction work going on (maybe the whole year of 2013) but we were on the other side of the building. The room is a bit small and the bathroom is part of the room (glass door for the shower). The reception is staffed by a variety of young people.   Excellent location close to the West Lake, and near some western bars and restaurants (if you're looking for that), right next to Eudora Station, 5 minute walk from Xihu Tiandi. The bed was quite big and very comfortable. - Great location, nice room with the most comfortable bed we've had in China. Good value for money.

  Beautiful location on the hillside. View from the balcony was really nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the stroll to West Lake thru wonderful scenery from the hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful but I don't think English is their strong suit (aside from the American Chinese owner).
