While booking for the Hulu Hotel, I requested for the earliest check in as I arrived in Beijing in the early morning and they were very prompt with their response. Even though they did not have space for us to check in early, they were very gracious when we arrived and allowed us to leave our backpacks (which we felt really safe). The room was fantastic... Felt like I was living in a villa! The bedding and sheets smelt great and felt extremely luxurious! On top of that, the TV had TV shows and .
所有评语 » Walking distance from Forbidden City (20-30mins), Temple of Heaven (40-60mins) and Lama Temple (40-60 mins). Even though is in the centre of town is very quiet at night. Staff made good recommendations for places to eat for dinner. Design of room decor and reception/breakfast room was lovely in its modern simplicity (bare wooden floors, white walls, wooden furniture etc). Lovely music playing at all times in reception/breakfast room. Large internal Koi pond also provided a peaceful backdrop. The design and comfort of the hotel is very good! The bed and pillows they use is comparable to 5-star hotels. They also provide you with really long and thick bath towels, which I found to be uncommon in China. The service of the staff is also great. They were very helpful and also allowed us a very late checkout. Location was also great since it did not involve long walks into the hutongs and is very near shops, eateries, and two subway stops as well bus stops. It is really a quiet oasis in the heart of Beijing! i arrived the hulu in the midnight at 2am, and the staff is so nice and helpful, even let me check-in in the next morning. and the courtyardyard is full of greens and makes me feel relax automatically....besides, having breakfast in the morning is a wonderful start of my Beijing trip. The location is very convenient. It's just minutes away from Wangfujin and its hutongs are super cool to experience. The best about this hotel is that it's a converted old courtyard. You will experience old Beijing charm in the jewel. The staff is super friendly and one can order breakfast which is made to order for free!!!. Absolutely love the modern touch into the traditional courtyard house. Floor heating system in toilet. Walking distance to Wangfujing and metro station. Lovely breakfast and reasonable prices. Highly recommended to travellers who would love to explore the real beijing lifestyle instead of staying in normal hotel that you can get in other cities. Property was fantastic. I loved the bed and bath-towels. There are also loads of movies in various languages loaded onto your TV which is great as I have often stayed in hotels in China that have no English TV channels. The service was great and they even made us toast for breakfast at 5 am when we had to leave for the airport. Clean modern yet traditional tucked away up a hutung which was difficult to find at first. So quiet, lovely comfy bed, great breakfast, and during day teas and coffees included. In-house dog did not like me and growls only at me everytime I pass by. Breakfast could be better if there were options to choose from. Hutongs are inherently narrow if you want to stay at high rise full service hotel then this place is not for you. But if you are willing to experience real Beijing then this gem is for you and you need to book early as there are only few rooms available . Lights in the room wasn't stable. Even though breakfast is good but it would be good to have more options. Nothing - everything was fantastic. Lighting in bathroom poor, problem with the hot water in our bathroom at times, drafty door but heating ok. The shower wasn't 100% clean when we got into the room. Mystery smell came from toilet. In the room there was a few cool, and I was not able to deal with the air conditioner operation (instructions in English was not applied). In the room it is desirable to have the facilities for making tee/coffee. None. You get a lot of reverb in the room—it sounds much bigger than it actually is—which is a little disconcerting. Also, the wood flooring (I'm assuming laminate) are very slippery.
