We were supposed to be staying in a standard double room but was upgraded on arrival by the look of it due to double booking. The substitute room was excellent further back on the mountain from the main block of the hotel. The block had a communal balcony area with excellent views of the sunset. My room sunset view of the peaks and the Taiping Telpher Cable car. TV channels and reception is very good.
Hot showers and comfortable beds. Free wired internet available. Free wifi at lobby. Lion peak to see sunrise is just a short walk behind hotel.
