My assigned room which I never saw didn't have a working bathroom. Thus, they gave me their nicest, biggest room right in the corner. It is next to the reception. It was clean, nice, it had a heather, warm-water, great wi-fi. They also have a safe luggage storage, unlike other hostels where everyone can go in. In a beautiful paved street right in the centre of Santiago and close to several metro stops, this Hostal is set in a lovely old house. It is clean, has helpful and pleasant staff and is full of charm. I loved my very short stay here and would go again.
所有评语 » I loved the antique furniture in every room and the panelled walls. I felt like a lady staying in a grand home from the 1800's. Spacious public areas for relaxing. Staff very helpful, breakfast fruit salad and bread was excellent. Staff were warm and friendly and always happy to help ...right down to the cleaning ladies :) Breakfasts were good .. A bit repetitive when staying for a week but still value for money. I would definitely stay here again. We loved our room overlooking the square. It had a nice sitting area and a large outdoor balcony. The neighborhood is a calm reprieve from the fast pace of Santiago. Short walk to restaurants and Metro. We had a two bedroom apartment provided by the Londres, 2 blocks away. Went to the Londres for breakfast ... excellent value. Location is great, pleasant streets close to center. The delight of crisp, clean sheets, and clean shower curtains! Staff always friendly and helpful. Great central location. The hostel lived up to the title of boutique hostel. The place was full of Art Deco furniture and had heaps of character. This hotel rocks!!! the staff is really friendly, my room was so cute, like a little artists' garret, I loved it!. The location is really central in a nice suburb. The building is interesting and it seems to have a lot of story. Great location & value for money. Good breakfast included also. I would be happy to stay here again. Beautiful, grand, old building. Very central in nice area close to bars, restaurants and sights. Excellent location on a quiet street, but close to metro station, shops, restaurants, and only 3 minutes walk from Calle Ahumada, the main pedestrian shopping street. great location between la modena and cerro santa lucia. paris/londres district is a stop on all the tourista guides. metro is quite nearby. nice friendly staff speaks good english. Good localization. Staff friendly/kindly. Location is good. Breakfast was not all that but obviously worth the $. The street noise was sometimes loud but it always quieted down about 11. Still, it was worth keeping our windows open just to soak in the neighborhood ambience. Some problems accessing internet from house computers. Probably need upgrading/replacing. I think it would be good if the ham and cheese that is offered for breakfast could be refrigerated in some way, I didn't really feel safe eating it, maybe lay the plate on some ice or something???. The all hotel is old. Central heater doesn't seem to work well. N/a. Wifi not functioning in the room and only occasionely in the rest of the building, noisy rooms on streetside. All the rooms are different and very variable in terms of size, noise and bathrooms. Creaky floors throughout, so you hear anybody walking along the corridor outside your room. Very limited breakfast; the only bread is pre-sliced bread which is left sitting on the tables to dry out! For my second morning, I bought some rolls from a nearby bakery. there seemed to be a tinge of confusion in the hotel...but it was survivable, and some of it had to do with the lack of english spoken. rooms and breakfast was not as good as it shows. Very old instalations. There are worst bedrooms. The photo of suite (bedroom+restroom/water closet) is not a standart, but for a unique bedroom, near of reception. Very small place for breakfast. Poor breakfast. All thing too old，not worth for the price.
