The location was great, downtown Whitehorse, YK, on the Yukon River, easy walking distance to many facilities - restaurants, museums, walking, scenery. Old and could probably use a refurbishment but it's clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff are great. I would stay there again, definitely. staff in whitehorse, Yukon were excellent - top notch - they really made you feel welcome and could answer any questions.

Price was high, but seemed to be in keeping with surrounding properties good on site restaurant. very friendly and helpful desk recommending restaurants nearby and how to walk there. Rooms good and some staff excellent. Large room and friendly staff. Staff very accomonating. comfortable bed. The view right outside your window of the Yukon River. They allowed pets although we did not bring ours on this journey. We were not in the room much but they were big enough for our family to be comfortable plus they had a fridge and microwave. Decent pricing for Whitehorse and the room was kept pretty clean. Nice big room with view of the river. Friendly staff! Very helpful. good bed, reasonably quiet,. Clean and friendly. in centre of town. There was not much that my husband or I liked about this place. The only nice thing I can say is although the building was old it was fairly clean. If you want Modern and up to date this is not the place. Location, budget friendly. Nothing. The blankets could have been warmer. No breakfast--Cook didn't show up for work! Not the establishment's fault, of course (and Fusion restaurant, on the hotel premises, is pretty good). No restaurant Lobby could stand a facelift. Hallways smelled. Seedy bar next door. One staff member was a pain. Old style keys. Restaurant was closed for repair. window screen did not fit, some music from the restaurant started early in the morning and continued. It is clean however does require some attention, likely from previous rowdy customers. They, like the Westmark in Skagway has a touch of mold starting in the tub and should be looked at before it gets out of control. They should also make the entire hotel non smoking as the smell from the smoking rooms filters into the hall. Outside is a better place for the product anyhow. Older facility and pretty run down. Also not the best for young kids as there are 2 bars very close and there are usually some very intoxicated locals nearby. Bath tub old and worn. Luggage storage service is a bit unorganized. terrible TV reception quality. no elevator. sleasy people outside. Less nice neighbourhood. people hanging around on sidewalks outside, some could be very inhibiting. long way to airport scatchy neighbourhood. The price is way over the amount should be charged for the room. No A.C. but they had a small desk fan in the room which did nothing. So if you like to sleep cold like we do expect no sleep. The beds are hard as concrete! We only stayed one night passing through. If we were staying longer we would not have stayed there. If your staying to tour WhiteHorse better of some where else. Front desk staff when checking in was rude. She was having an issue with someone else that was checking in and pretty much ignored us, told us to come back later. Did not like the crack selling gang in the parking lot, the noisy room, the disgusting filthy room or rude staff.
