  The staff at Alexandra hotel were very kind and exceptionally accommodating in all our encounters during our brief (1-night) stay. Since we were coming from the States, we didn't have any Canadian currency, and the front desk staff readily provided currency exchange for any amount needed. The facilities were really clean, the location - The place is very nice and we were moved to another room after the bedbug issue and we were haven quarters heat up our laundry. The owners handled it well and took immediate action. We did not get a discount or $$ for the inconvenience but we didn't ask for it either. I wanted them to take the complaint seriously, which it was. That night and the next day they were working on the room.

  This is a charming little boutique hotel that is well-kept, comfortable, and handy central Toronto's attractions. There were several eating establishments within easy walking distance and a major subway station is right across the street. The rooms were small and simply furnished but quiet and clean.
