The room was a reasonable size with a tv, coffee maker and kettle. The bed was very comfortable. There was a comfy chair so you can sit near the window. The bathroom was a good size and had nice bathroom accessories. The sea is directly across the road from the property, and there are picnic tables available. It is close to the town of Sidney, about a 10-15 minute walk. Sidney is a fabulous town, a little gem. Whale watching is available from the harbour, and there is free music in the p.
所有评语 » The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location beautiful: water/island views and gardens. Close to bus stop to/from Victoria/Swartz Bay. A short bus ride from The Buchart Gardens. Nice short/flat walk to lovely town centre. Has a do it yourself laundry. I had trouble finding king-sized beds in the Victoria area, but this place has them for about the same rate. I also like the ventilation in the bathroom. The staff arranged late checkout for us. The Cedarwood is homey but dated. Great for longer stay if one wants to make use of cooking facilities. Reminds me a lot of 70's basement rec-rooms. Great location across from the beach. The waterfront location, combined with the size of the suite and the motel amenities, made the Cedarwood Inn and Suites a fantastic value for the already economical cost!. Exceeded expectations! Allowed early check in , room was spacious and well appointed overlooking the ocean. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Access to Ferry and Sidney. Walk across the street to the Sidney Harbor Shoreline. Great shoreline walks to Sidney. Staff was great. Great location, lovely suite with kitchen, lounge and dining room. Cosy pinewood decor. Friendly Irishman named Peter at desk. Liked having a full kitchen for a week long stay. Location and view was excellent. Amazing staff! Very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful views. There were some switches that didn't do anything obvious. The TV was old-style and tiny. The fridge was kind of noisy. It smells a bit of old carpets, but not objectionably so. Nothing!. Just that you can't always get your car in front of your unit as there are 2 stories in the building and others may take it, but that's a minor consideration- there is enough parking. It is right on a very busy road, kinda takes away from the experience but a wonderful place to stay regardless. No place to eat within ten-minute walk. A bit outdated , very bad wifi. Very happy. The rooms are old in nned of update. Drapes and valence not matching. flooring on exterior halls in poor shape. Wake up call didn't happen. Too expensive for quality of room. Room could use updating and exterior paint was chipped on doors. I don't like bedspreadss and prefer a clean sheet on top. - hard bed - may be eco friendly in some respects, but where is the low flush toilet? - poor quality thin bath towels - I prefer to support local business, but prices should not be higher that the Best Western in Sidney who provide more comfortable beds and higher standard linens. There for one week, never again. Room was very tired -needs modernizing. room not cleaned on occasion. Dark, dingy, smelly. asked for another room but that was worse. No bar or restaurant on site. Nearest food and drink about a mile walk.
