  We had a wonderful time at the Forest Motel and Woodland Resort and would reccommend it heartily! The location is both absolutely stunning, right on a small lake, and convenient, hidden in the forest and far enough from the highway. Staff members were friendly and incredibly helpful, but never pushy. Muffins at breakfast were yum - We had a wonderful trip. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. Since we are outdoor people, we absolutely loved the surroundings. We enjoyed taking a boat on the lake, walking the trails and having a campfire at night. We also enjoyed their wonderful breakfast on one of the gazebos by the lake. The staff was always kind and right there to greet us in the morning and make sure the breakfast was stocked. It was so much more than just a place to sleep at night. We absolutely loved it

  great suroundings, we had to travel to Barrie and it was a short drive. Did not have a lot of time to check out the area and it rained all day sat. - The remote location but access to city ameneties. Facilities and access to golf courses.

  It was a great family vacation...my 6 years old had a wonderful time. They have great children's activity program. Teachers were excellent with the children. We all want to go back again next year.
