  The room was cute, had a small kitchen, and the building was very old and interesting. The location was nice and safe. We parked our car in the driveway of the hotel off street for free. The hotel is near some pretty parks and is only about a 25 minute bicycle ride into the main part of the city.   The hosts are amazing, so kind, they really take the time to make you feel comfortable and get to know you.   We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.

  Ok People are freaking out way too much about this hotel, probably travellers who are looking for a luxury resort for very little money. The place was clean, had good staff, and cheap. I think people complaining that there are homeless people.....listen they are not evil they are just people going through a rough time - The rooms, although old, were very clean and comfortable. It was within easy walking distance to tourist attractions. The gentleman on the desk was very friendly and knowledgeable about Victoria. An enjoyable stay!
