Love that there were oranges and bottled water on a table with napkins and a knife for your oranges, in the room. Love that someone came personally and told us what was happening there that night and if we needed them to book anything for us, and gave me a rose. Love that when we were in our room it was quiet, never heard any sound at all from the hallway, or next rooms. Love that the staff was the best. Will definitely be back only for a longer time. This is an awesome hotel, and truly loved i.
所有评语 » We loved the charming Victorian feel and the gorgeous Christmas decorations. The dining experience was delightful both for dinner and breakfast. Our room was beautiful and they even upgraded us because it was our anniversary celebration. The pool area was also beautifully decorated and the water temp was perfect. It was so nice to be right in the center of the lovely town as well and therefore we could walk to everything. This hotel has a great location to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is within walking distance to shopping, dining and site seeing. Beautiful grounds, flowers all along sidewalk and entrance. Clean luxurious rooms - very comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed for 2 nights and it was a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommend the Prince of Wales Hotel. Glad to stay in a place that has kept the charm and history of N.O.T.L. Was a huge shock when I went for dinner @ The Oban, was looking forward to the piano bar, to find the place had been totally gutted, now looks like a place in any major city. The hotel is breathtaking, fabulous deco, the room was amazing, soo very clean and comfortable, I felt like a princess in the bed!! Wonderful relaxing experience indeed.and the couples massage was beautiful also. the entire Niagra on the Lake area We would love to stay here again especially in the fall. Please send us offers that are affordable and we most assuredly will return! :). Excellent atmosphere. Dining experience including waiter's knowledge of wines first class. Presentation and food excellent. Loved being close to everything in town and loved being shuttled over to the Pillar and Post to experience the hot springs. We enjoyed the rooms and Pool. The outside of the hotel with all the flowers was very beautiful as was the lobby. Beautiful Victorian style hotel with all the modern conveniences. Top notch service and fabulous cuisine. Everything was beautiful and luxurious yet the staff made you feel comfortable and at home. Every detail executed beautifully. An enjoyable stay that enhanced my touring around NOTL. polite staff, excellant food, convenient location on a beautiful street,easy parking. It was very close to the Shaw Festival plays. The bed was very comfortable. The price! Could be a little bit cheaper, more people would be able to afford to stay there. Or put specials on so that people like me would be able to enjoy a place like this more often. We have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend the hotel!. Won't pay $55.00 plus tax for a manicure, was my birthday, thought I would treat myself, but no. The pool room was a bit shabby. However the hottub and pool were very clean, but the decor needs an update. The room (152) was very small and for the price per night we felt a little too high priced and not good value for money. nothing, really. hard put to find anything. Generally sub-standard cleaning of rooms and public areas - dust everywhere, mold on bathtub tile grouting. The cleaning lady told us that we should have had a jacuzzi in our room!. Nothing. Nothing. Slept great on the rm pillows. So, we purchased the hotel pillows. However, when we tried them at home they were too firm, and can't be used. We asked the desk clerk before purchasing them to confirm they were the same as the rm pillows! Wasted our money. Smell in the south wing hallway leading to the rooms. it could have had more tv stations. Original room in adjacent building while large was very dark, drab and had an musty smell. Hotel did change us to a room in the main hotel but it was much smaller. Cleaning standards were quite poor. Our room had cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom and mold in between the tiles. The housekeeping staff left us only one towel and it was old and frayed with strings hanging down, it looked more like a cleaning towel than a guest towel. The hot tub was not clean and the pool area was decorated with dead plants. Our room was dark, and almost inaccessible ( stairs, no elevator, located in annex) In summary, we were not given the room we booked, but we're ' upgraded' to an unacceptable location. Room smelled of mildew, very expensive for poor overall quality. lousy view. Hotel room was in the basement & for the price, it was definitely not worth it. To get to the room you had to go up and down steps (like a maze...). Very disappointing.
