Location was perfect for my needs - I could walk to pretty much everywhere I wanted to go; staff were very helpful and the bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and awesome music! The tours organised by the hostel were really good - I learnt a lot about the area and it was a great way to meet people. The staff is really nice, all good guys both at the reception and the bar. Everybody is willing to help and to chat, I had a great time! The position is also awesome, the metro station is within a stone's throw from the hostel and the nearby area is good for clubbing at night.
所有评语 » Simplicity, amability of the personal, free breakfast, cheap laundry, kitchen available for everyone with boxes to store the food, activities organized such as pub crawls and so on... And another advantage, common to any hostel : the possibility to meet international people !. I loved EVERYTHING about the HI-Montreal! We purchased hostelling international memberships and this is the way we will travel from now on. Looking forward to our next visit to Montreal (just not the drive home!). the smile of the staff, the cleaness of the place- the cleanest I have ever stayed at, the discretion of th staff, the wonderfull location the quieteness the feeling of being safe. Staff is very kind, Montrealers are the nicest! Facilities are very good and in an excellent spot in the Downtown Montreal. Good location, friendly staff, quite and comfortable place. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff and roommates,. Being close to everything. location and happy hours. Staff were very helpful. The people, the cafe. secured entry. Everything was very clean (hallways and lounge areas included) and I felt comfortable wearing my socks around, even though it was winter; the free breakfast was great, comparable to a hotel continental breakfast and the purchasable breakfast(s) were big, filling and delicious. . Good city tours which were free. pros location, private bathroom, access to full kitchen. Bathrooms weren't fantastic...but it wasn't an issue; I mean it is a hostel after all. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay in Montreal. The 10 bed dorm I stayed in is kinda small, not much room, but the bathroom was clean and the shower worked just fine. The air conditioned everywhere, and especially in my room where the air flow was axed on my bed. Then I got sick and never recovered by the end of my stay. The air conditioning cannot be controlled so sometimes it was extremely cold and sometimes extremely hot. There should be electrical outlet for each bed in the dorms. A it noisy at night. i wish there was complementary complete breakfast. The bed was the most uncomfortable sleep I've ever had. I woke up each morning VERY early and wondered if I'd be able to stand up. It seemed that most people felt the same way - by opinions given as well as the amount of tossing and turning most ppl did throughout the night.... Had to change rooms mid stay with the new room not as comfortable as our original room Breakfast buffet overpriced relative to other brekfasts on offer. cons -my first night there I found a pair of dirty socks in my room and a price tag in my bed -stains on carpet made the room seem grungy -shower stall was ridiculously small -tile could've used a good scrub .
