  I loved everything about the hotel; the decor in the public areas was nice, and the rooms were just gorgeous, with big bathroom, lovely walk-in shower; bed was really comfortable, there was plenty of desk space; the internet was faast and free; and breakfast was veyr good too. While le Germain is certainly no budget-conscious hotel, it has remained true to its boutique roots and provided numerous value-adds that left me feeling as if I was well compensated for the rather considerable rate that I paid.   This is a great place to stay and I will definitely be coming back. Everything is nicely informal, and the Rex staff are lovely (You have to go to the bar to check in). The room was small, but very comfortable indeed. We stayed in an en suite room, but the other rooms looked fine too (plenty of bathrooms in the corridor). I would enthusiastically - I love loved the location! Its within walking distance to Dundas Square (about 15 mins). There is also a train stay about 2 min walk from the hotel. There are also numerous train cars. There are also jazz shows on most nights. Its a great place to stay. There's also a free breakfast of toast and tea or coffee.
