I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley. We had an overnight stay with an early morning flight. Comfort, good shower and internet access in a quiet location were priorities. We also wanted a couple of hours at West Edmonton mall for shopping. The excellent friendly and helpful staff capped off a stay that fulfilled all of our requirements; in fact exceeded our expectations. -
