  The Fairmont Palliser is an absolutley beautiful place in the heart of all things good in Calgary.Most of the fine hotels in this area can boast that feature alone.   recently renovated room, comfortable bed and bed clothes, convenient furniture, excellent bathroom with shower. Excellent breakfast at restaurant with variety of well prepared choices. - the renovations are amazing. The food and the staff could not be inproved as everything was what we expected and beyond.   Staff in the hotel and restaurant were really friendly and helpful. We had travelled from Ireland and were awake 20hrs when we arrived at the hotel so it was great to have a good restaurant in the hotel.   Free Shuttle service to Airport Being dealt by first come first served. The phone rang whilst I was at the desk where the phoning customer was placed on hold, whilst I was being served. I hate being queue jumped by a telephone call!!
