  We booked a room for 3 (1 single bed & 1 double bed). Apparently they just renovated the hotel so we got the room on the new building. It was a huge room with large comfy bed. The bathroom was good. It was our first visit to Cambodia and Mr Rina, the manager, did everything he could to help us - organised a river trip, a tuk-tuk tour of the town, and a (very good) driver to take us on to Battambang. Rooms are quiete, pretty big, beds are super comfortable, 4 stars toileteries and cabin shower (note that many budget friendly hotels in Indochina have the shower that flows directly on the bathroom floor). The position is not in one of the several attractions centers of the cit - this is my 3rd or 4th stay at silver river, still excellent given its price and service. room service food is very good too although there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. always remember to check the shower pressure, air-con, toilet flush etc, varies a bit in diff rooms, get a change of room or tell reception to fix it. there is a handyman around. safety box is very user-friendly!

  The rooms were very attractive and very clean, and they had great views of the city. Rooms came with all the expected amenities and the staff was very nice and helpful. The staff acted like it was a 5 star hotel. They got me bus tickets to Siem Reap. Also, tuk-tuks were always easy to get from the front door.
