Nice personnel,very good breakfast,and by the way no more question about what room you came from when you are heading to take it(breakfast),the garage with car lift is unexpectable,very good location and not to say a very impressive vue. Most Bulgarian hotels tend to save on quality pillows and bedding. Not this one. Wonderful night sleep overlooking the city. Breakfast was excellent also. Great location within walking distance of most tourist attractions.
所有评语 » The hoyel has an excelent position, with a very nice view, very clean, big rooms, receptionists speak good English and are very friendly. They have a garage, which is definately a plus. Great location, walking distance to all of the sights. Very large gym, reasonable swimming pool. Good breakfast. Very cool lift runs down the outside of the hotel & nice terrace. Hotel is centrally located in Veliko Tarnovo. The view on the river and the art gallery is very nice and very quiet. Staff is very nice and very helpful. Location in the center, parking, big room, nice view from the balcony, brecfast, staff, swimming pool, jakuzzi (extra pay) - all was outstanding!!!. I loved the fitness center and massage, it was so relaxing. The room's were spotless and the beds very comfortable. Central location , parking reserved in front of the hotel, friendly staff, shops all around, close to main sights,. great value for best located hotel with great views, spa,. indoor heated pool. Couldn't fault it in any way. The setting was beautiful. We loved sitting in the open-air cafe looking down into the gorge. The breakfast was very poor, and if you come at 9.00 am, everything is cold, and generaly not very atractive. For a decaff coffee, I had to pay extra, although normal coffee is included in the breakfast fee. The swimming pool is very small. Not very soundproofed from other rooms - doors slamming in the morning and I could hear the neighbours sneezing! Not all rooms have good views. Impossible to reserve a table for 2 with riverview on topfloor restaurant. Riverview tables are for big groups. All was very good!. I din't like the fact we couldn't find the hotel, although I know Veliko Turnovo very well, I was asking for the Meridian, not even the taxi drivers knew the hotel by this name. We would have liked a balcony. Wifi was unstable, dropped in and out. the walls are not very thick so you can hear many sounds from the surrounding rooms. Staff not so competent. At check-in the girl at reception gave me a big smile, but then pointedly looked me up and down and said I would need to be using the gym facilities. I'm a healthy 6 foot 1 male weighing 75kgs. Not sure what she was on about. Maybe it was a language thing. To be fair I have been a bit lax with the push-ups of late. A/C very poor,old furniture,. Shower leaves bathroom/toilet floor wet. Beds weren't really comfortable, and the bathroom seemed like provisional. Would have liked coffee making facilities in the room. Hotel was really lovely but not much on the decor of the rooms bit sparse ...we stayed in top luxury suite but still it just felt empty of cosy ... Personally I think it needs updated .. I know this is a very traditional Bulgarian hotel but I still think they should revamp the rooms bring in different colours and a bit of contemporary decor . only a 3 stars hotel. The aircon in the room was broken and we were asked to open the window onto a noisy high street , even then we were unable to sleep as it was very hot . No other rooms or compensation offered ruined a otherwise great stop. Parking is by car lift very tight, though staff did offer to park car. Noisy from the restaurant; old smell of cigarettes in the room; hairdryer on inappropriate place;.
