The hotel was lovely and homely and Ivan and Tosha were incredibly friendly and helpful. I foolishly left my wallet on the bus on our way to Shipka and Ivan spent the afternoon tracking down the bus and arranging with the driver (who kindly looked after the wallet) to meet the next day to return it to me. Wow....what can we say. We have stayed at a number of hotels/bed and breakfasts over the years and we rank Shipka IT hotel as one of the tops. Ivan and Tosha are fantastic hosts. It was a delight to stay there and we recommend it highly. You have to try their homemade specialties at their restaurant and you may even get Ivan and Tosha to sing for you as you enjoy a great dining experience out on their patio by the swimming pool. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, bed and breakfast stay
