No one could visit and not appreciate the care and thought that has gone into the design and attention to detail, especially in the bay-facing rooms, with their balconies and spacious, comfortable rooms. Great personal,, actually the European owners are so welcoming that you forget every negative detail about the city or your trip.   Extremely friendly hostel right in the heart of the Pelourinho. The facilities are certainly a bit spartan, but the staff are overly friendly, speak many languages, and they assist you and advise you on all matters. The pousada has a very nice covered courtyard with coffee tables, a hammoc, and a pool table, as well as a sunny terrace with rooftop... 别人怎么说 » views. The rooms are very simple but spacious, clean and fresh. They also have fridges for keeping snacks or drinks. The view from the rooms is very - Location was excellent, in the heart of Pelhourhino. Even though accommodation reflected the historic nature of the buildings and area (basic and old fashioned) it added to the feel of being in an historic, authentic location. We had a room which adjoined a communal terrace with fantastic sea views and ideal for enjoying a late night drink.

Nice neighbourhood with beaches - The atmosphere was quite intoxicating leaning toward the exotic. The proprietor made us feel very at home almost as if we were staying with welcoming friends. Mornings couldn't come soon enough anticipating the excellent breakfast that awaited us. The Atlantic beach, walking minutes away from the pousada was beckoning.
