  I really enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very helpful. My family does not speak portuguese (I do it), so the staff spoke in spanish with them. We came early the day of the check-in, however since the bedroom was without people, they let us do the check in before the hour. Some people say that the room was small but we stayed at the 3 peop - The rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The room we had was just the right size for 2 people and bathroom is in excellent condition. Despite speaking limited English, staff are helpful. Around the corner is a burger place and across the road is a juice place and also, a really nice sandwich bar and restaurant. About 10 minutes walk to Copacabana beach.

  This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach). Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.   The hotel is beautiful - the rooms are very very nice - very attractively furnished with old furniture and lots of artwork everywhere.   The staff bent over backwards to help me with my extremely poor Portuguese. Location perfect as the Metro Catete is only 3/4 of a block, beach 10-15 min, lots of shopping. - Excellent location, allows for great mobility.
