Lovely, clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and when we could not communicate with our limited/ almost nonexistent Portuguese were quick to either find someone to assist or use Google translate. They were able to book tours for us for pickup at the pousada and gave us extra time for checkout as our bus back to Sao Luis was later in the day and the tour we had came back in the afternoon. Security was very good.
