  This is a beautiful place to stay. A tastefully converted mill that overlooks a park with a stream and abundant birdlife. Its is both tranquil and re-energising. The owner, Michel, has set up the place with a simple and elegant balance between medieval & contemporary - very nice . . . and very clean! The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest. The breakfast was the best I've ever had (it beats a 5-star American hotel) : Homemade jellies, fresh (also exotic) fruits, pancakes, wonderful cheeses, croissants etc. Everything either freshly bought or freshly made as you arrive.
