The hotel is beautiful. It is great to stay in a place that belonged to a famous artist - Samuel Coucke - and was restored with such love and care. You should definately ask about the history of this house - it is very interesting. The right place to stay in Brugge to fill the air of the city. Huis 'T Schaep is located in the center of the city (3 min walk from the Market square). There are 2 partkings near to the hotel ('T Zand parking cost less than 9 Euro per day - a very reasonable price in.
所有评语 » The room was very large and lovely with a four poster bed and living room area. The bathroom was large and very up-to-date with an amazing stained glass window that had been made long ago at this very house. Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was wonderful and all this was within a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. We wish we had booked more than one night and plan to go back the next time we're in Europe. Beautiful b & b with amazing hosts, very attentive to one's needs. Wonderful breakfasts. Owner gave us a tour of his 17th century home, and it was absolutely lovely. We stayed in the Rubens room and it was beyond beautiful. Pictures on line do not do it full justice. If we ever return to Bruges, would stay here again, definitely!! Will be encouraging our friends to visit Bruges and stay at the lovely B & B Huis 'T Schaep. The care takers of Huis T'Schaep made sure that all of our needs were met. Each morning over the delicious breakfast, he enquired about our itinerary and made suggestions. All of his recommendations were incredible! The rooms were fabulous and the food was great. They had full size bath room products and a very powerful hair dryer. The home is gorgeous and they have done an excellent job with restoration. Huis ´T Schaep was beautiful. It was like staying in a place preserved in time, or an amazing museum, quiet comfortable cozy and clean. The rooms are huge. The food was great, and the entire place is in a great location, close to everything going on in Bruges. And most of all the staff were very nice and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. I would suggest it to anyone. Very stylish place, with exceptional décor, warm and friendly atmosphere including a very wide choice of breakfasts which cater for most peoples tastes. We would recommend you check it out for yourself; don’t just take our word. If romance is in the air, this is a place that offers the ambiance you would like to enhance such memorable moments. This was by far one of the best experiences of a week long vacation that spanned The Netherlands, Brussels, Luxembourg, and Germany. This unesco listed B&B was a diamond nestled within the Castel Vienden walls. Perfectly run by 2 men who dedicate themselves to a fantastic experience for their clientele. What a find. Standards are beyond my expectations. John and Rob excellent hosts. They have spent an inordinate amount of time getting the house to its current level with, John tells me more to come. John makes for an fantastic historian. Stay here when in Brugge, There is no better. I will when next back. The house offers excellent, individual service! The host knows all the great little restaurants and shops you always miss when youre in a city for the first time. The rooms are very spacious and the amenities are in an excellent state. This hotel definetly knows what hospitality is!. Location - great for city centre. Owner - very friendly and obviously cares a great deal about his business and the historical nature of the B&B and locality. Rooms - very clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The location is good, close to the sights of Brugge and one can walk from the station (15 mins). The service is excellent and the same for breakfast. Everything was superb. No air conditioning is available as the building code does not allow a significant change to these old buildings. Fortunately, there is often a cool breeze so we didn't really need one. There is no elevator; staff/owner moved the luggage upstairs for us. Absolutely no complaints. The towels could be nicer, but really there is nothing to complain about. None. N/A. There was nothing to dislike except we didn't spend enough time here!. Nothing not to like. Nothing. Upper floor access might be a challenge for certain people. Everything was superb.O. No long enough. Parking could be easier.
