very nice elegant room with the newest television set. all luxuary facilities as towel robe ,sleepers ,extra fancy cushions etc. The staff (gentleman) who took care of us on arrival was very, very nice and kind. The room was clean and tidy.Good breakfast. We were lucky and got one of their apartments - very nice, spacious, with kitchen. We have stayed in the Carlton many times. Home away from home.所有 评语 »
The beds were very comfortable and the pillows very soft. we were put in one of the apartments.quiet room. We loved the enormous double bed. The view of the park from our 6th floor window. The fact it was just 10 minutes walk from the station, on top of the diamond district and just a 10 minute walk from the main shopping centre and places of interest.The breakfast was great. The front desk staff were very helpful when I asked questions and handled the checkin quickly. The hotel has a great location in Antwerp within walking distance of everything. The staff spoke the best English I have encountered in Europe. i stayed 4 days - had to ask for coffee or tea bags and toilet papare. professional welcome at registration desk. Good room, good breakfast. Very spacious double room, 5 minute walk from main train station and metro/bus stop. Comfortable hotel, helpful staff who changed my room when I asked. I. The Charlton is a solid Hotel, situated central in walking distance to the heart of the City. The bed was very good and the breakfast selection was good. Very good location. However, the daytime staff (two ladies) were not as good as evening staff.No it was great. everything was perfect. The hotel book in our room indicated that breakfast was included in the price. When we went to reception to pay the bill we were charge for the breakfast as we were told it was not in our deal. I think the 15 Euros was expensive but the buffet breakfast was excellent. I found the magnetic card reader for the parking lot very difficult to use. I changed my pass key and still had problems. It took a lot of effort to get the doors to open. The air conditioning in the room didn't seem to work very well, or maybe I didn't understand how to operate it.never theless great hotel loved the location . second time i am there first time with friends second family. it is being renoveted so is not up to its usual standard. this didn't impact on my stay, however.room was cold, inverter heating did not work properly and duvet was feathers( Allergic) The room was lovely though, it had recently been remodernised. Hotel restaurant for dinner is not available.Very old for the original price charged for the room. May be the parking, because isn´t by the Hotel and isn´t so good. It is bat and not clean place.Overcharged by 5 eur - did not raise with them at time as inj hurry toleave to catch ferry. The rooms were outdated, but they are busy with refurbishing.no dark bread at breakfast, shower attached (high) to the wall, no handheld. Car parking was expensive at 17 Euro per night, and car park was like a bomb site !!. Car Park inconvenient
Having to pay for wireless internet. You must pay for everything extra... and a lot...Construction been carried out in hotel, alot of noise. Had to move, butstaff extremely helpful and accomaadating. the hotel is too old, should be re-model. Air conditioning poor, Beds uncomfortable, Need to buy duvet covers instead of wrapping sheets around. The accommodation (both rooms!) sufferred badly fromt he effects ofhaving been smoked in; this was most unpleasant and unexpected.I had a rash from the sheets and they had to be changed. On top of that,both my wife and I were both covered in mosquito bites the next morning.The hotel is currently being upgraded and there some drilling going on. Bad aircondition. Only 1 small soap for 2 people????. ... no minibar and no WiFi in the room ...No staff at reception, several times I had to wait for a few minutes, I think there should always be someone at the reception. Lack of parking places, staff could have been more helpful than they did.There were doing some works (new rooms) just above our room. They started at 8 o'clock in the morning without stopping the whole morning what didn't let us sleep. awful car parking place. slow reception attendence. I don't believe the hotel warrants a 4 star standard, more a 3 star.The hotel is somewhat outdated in looks of room/bathroom and facilities, but ' still goes strong'. I reserved a "superior" room. I would not dare to guess what the standard rooms are like.
