  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  Excellent staff attentiveness. Looks like it was built yesterday as to the cleaniless and overall appearance. Tricky to find, but not difficult with GPS. Added plus was two passes with stay to enjoy nearby lifts and payment of toll road over the pass.   This is our absolute favorite B&B! We cannot speak highly enough of Hotel Berghof. It is a jewel. We loved the accommodations, the service and the food. Every square inch of the inn is sparkling clean and charming. The staff is stellar -- extremely efficient, friendly and accommodating. And, the food is amazing -- so delicious!   Perfect for smaller children upto about 6 years. Very child and baby friendly! The buffet dinner was very good and healthy food. The children did not had to eat fast food everyday.
