  The location is brilliant. Wien State Opera was the reason we came to Wien and the hotel is just 100 meters from the Opera house. Besides, the Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Museam Quarter, fine restaurants and walking streets.   Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe. Wonderful staying! We are more than happy with that choice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. You can buy your underground tickets from the reception desk.
