Fine old former coaching inn, in a pleasant location in the centre of Gmünd. A long-established and family-run, it has modernised and moved with the times without losing its individuality and character. Friendly and polite reception and service. Spacious room. Very reasonable price for the quality of hotel and food. A great Austrian country experience. The service was efficient, friendly and unfailingly helpful. The food was good, skillfully cooked Austrian fare which we thoroughly enjoyed. Its position in the Austrian Alps is excellent.
