  The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport!   My trip was brief due to family matter and I hope to go back soon to have more time to explore the area. Ross at the motel was a great help to me due to my visiting circumstances, that is why I returned as I had stayed just over a month before to see family. The Tweed is a lovely area for shopping and water access.   I stayed here recently with my wife and son, and I was really impressed by the whole package; the family room was a large size, with a workbench for my son and I to each work from our laptops while my wife watched TV, and there were the necessary facilities for us to feel at home (microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board).   Went to see a show at Twin Towns and decided to try this motel which is half the price of Outrigger and was excellent value for money. The bed was so comfortable (and I'm very fussy when it comes to beds) and the position just perfect.
