We loved everything. All staff members we met were so friendly and warm and helpful; the room and facilities were most comfortable and the spa was a godsend; the breakfast most generous and delicious and available early; the location perfect for walking into the central city area, and we loved the free, delicious, buttery biscuits on the reception counter. A lovely touch. Thank you so much.
所有评语 » The setting of the hotel was good close to the water with an easy stroll into the town. Not having a lift was a drawback as with heavy cases a bit of a struggle up the stairs. We decided to pay for the buffet breakfast which was excellent with the food freshly cooked. On the whole at £74 the hotel was good value for money. The rooms were very nice. Loved the microwave in the room for my baby's food & the beds were one of the most comfortable motel beds I have stayed in. We had to use the safe facility as we arrived after hours - this was a good service. I was a bit worried but it was really easy to use. The amazing view from our balcony Great location Friendly and helpful staff The entire place was clean and well maintained Great food in the restaurant, the buffet breakfast was great and affordable The entire place had a fancy feel to it, yet still affordable which was great. Stayed one night with my sister, room was ready for us, although we arrived early, very clean and well appointed and our request for a room with two beds was not a problem (we have no end on trouble when booking on line about getting a room with two beds) Good work. The location was great. Easy walk city centre and restaurants. Suggest all visitors to the hotel cross the bridge and walk to the Fishing Co-op to see the dozen pelicans waiting for fish scraps. These magnificent birds allow you to get close for photos. most of everything..great views of water so close to marina sailing and motor craft,,, paddle skis andcanoes and of course the local pelicans. the resturant and pool areas are first class including the reception and bar areas. I liked the modern decor without it being over the top . . . the price and quality of food for breakfast was good - didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant though . . . Position was nice, close enough to walk to everything. Very comfortable room terrific views over the river. Really close to town and all amenities. Even saw dolphins! This was a bit of luck.Good parking and breakfast was good. Offer cheaper breakfast deal when we arrived. the deck, pool area was very nice. Buffet breakfast was absolutely fantastic and possibly the best quality cooked breakfast we have ever had comparing even to 5 star resorts in terms of the bacon and mushrooms!. Staf were lovely and friendly. Bed was the most comfortable we have found in accommodation. Motel was walking distance to city centre and bowling club. Lovely outdoor pool. Whole place was lovely and clean. View over river/inlet from our balcony was beautiful..Easy walk to CBD and restaurants and a short stroll to great club with excellent eating and facilities.Breakfast value was exceptional. Very friendly, accommodating staff!! Loved the outdoor areas!! Breakfast banquet special was great and good food. Comfy lounge & bar area. The welcome cookies were a nice treat too. Fabulous location - we wished we could have stayed longer. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The view from our room was spectacular. Nice room with good selection of complimentary products. Excellent location near center but still peaceful place to relax at the pool and terrace are near water. Free WiFi!!. Like the fact that it is the half way destination for us from Gold Coast to Sydney. A lovely spot!! And of course there is always the beautiful oysters yummmm x. Excellent location, views, good food, easy parking, nice 'homemade' biscuits on the reception desk, very clean and comfortable Would like to come and stay again. We went there for my fathers 90th birthday and had 12 rooms booked for all the family which ranged from 2yrs old. All families thought the place was excellent. Position on river frontage and was within easy walking distance to shops and was next door to Bowls club. The restaurant at Waters Edge was quite reasonable. The staff at Waters Edge went above and beyond to make my mum's 60th birthday amazing champagne on arrival and chocolates in our room with a beautiful view. Breakfast deal was excellent food was fabulous, position close to CBD, staff very helpful & courteous. Will be back. Would recommend to others. :). Restaurant was excellent, vista also excellent and free parking ... The buffet breakfast was rather expensive for what it was comparing to other full buffets at other motels. The hot food was in small portions so had to wait & the variety could have been better ( the eggs were the best of any motel breakfast). Perhaps could add pancakes to the menu. Nothing bad to say. Thought there could have been a couple of bowls for those of us that don't have a lot for breakfast and want to get away early. All good. more comfortable seating i n the rooms, like tub chairs room permitting of course.. Reception closed and was unmanned from 8.00pm. the first room we were booked into had no balcony when it was offered as having a balcony on the site. I had also asked for a water view as we had no balcony and were moved to a room that did have one we were moved to a room over looking main road and carpark which ruined the entire ambience I felt like moving back to our original room even though I only booked it for a balcony. TV in this day and age could be a bit bigger than it was. No lift or ramp to pull heavy luggage up to 2nd floor. Microwave turntable didn't rotate and took a long time to heat/cook. Unable to turn fridge temperature down, knob was missing. Rooms and hallways need a bit of a spruce up. Downstairs appears to have been renovated but upstairs looking a bit tired. Rooms were clean and very adequate but fittings, wardrobes etc were old fashioned and dark timber. Also I suspect the letsbookhotel.com deal was readily available to anyone. We upgraded the letsbookhotel.com deal to a river view room for only $20 extra!. Plastic shower curtain spoiled your overall room refurbishment. Our stay way was too short !!!. No mention on the website that there is not a lift Would have appreciated a doona, it was quite a cold night. Some rooms faced the car park. Our room 102 not a good position when every one congregated outside to smoke. Will make sure in a room away from that area next time. Windows did not open. There was nothing I didn't like. Nothing to mention. An entree was not acceptable at the restaurant and while staff were apologetic it should have been deducted from the account as it was not edible. Parking spaces could be more generous in width. Breakfast was very expensive if all you wanted was cereal and toast. Fix the water pressure or shower head - ridiculous. Would have preferred a room with a better view. Next time I will pay the extra. Nothing!. Could have screen door on balcony. Given room facing road even though I asked for preference to pool facing. Only staying one night so didn't worry about it. That I can't stay there more often. No doonas or bedspreads on the bed, just sheets and then the available thin, worn blankets in the closets. Buffet breakfast not very good. Noise from interconnecting room (through door), we didn't book this. Flood lights outside room, it was like day like inside with the blockout curtains drawn - otherwise great. The staff wouldn't serve coffee at the bar in the middle of the day but would serve beer. No much at all - it was a positive experience. Confusing in regards to paying our accommodation as when I booked online I thought give credit details I was paying for the hotel. It was lucky I did not rely on that money. Nothing. Loved Waters Edge. Our room had a door connecting it to the room next to us. We could hear the conversation that went on in this room. Outside areas need to be cleaned up early each morning. Nothing worse than empty bottles etc left over from night before. The waste bin in the bedroom!. Not enough parking close unit. Narrow parking spaces- no undercover parking. hard to regulate hot and cold taps in shower... also move the laundry to a more ventilated area.. walking to our room the air in the corridor was hot and muggy.
