The staff were happy to help with our requests. They managed to check us in before 2pm which was nice after an early morning flight.

The suite on 6th floor was home away from home for me and as I cannot eat many foods from restaurant havinga kitchenette was so much assistance.
The fact that there is no way a client can take cases to lift without a valet as there is a staircase... same with access to breakfast terrace. Not so disable friendly.

I like this hotel overall as rooms are large and location is great
letsbookhotel.com reservation had not come through. I had booked a junior suite but was given a standard room as a result (no reduction in $) which was very disappointing.
The hotel was funky and elegant, and the staff was courteous. The room was chic and spacious, with a sitting area as well as bed. Bathroom was huge, with a jet tub & enclosed shower. Located on a main street near trams & shopping.
South Yarra is great for fashionistas, but I'm not a shopper, and it was a bit further out of the city proper than I'd realized. Distant from the airport. But trams are easy to use and frequent.
I love this hotel, my second stay and will be back again. It has everything you could want, stylish yet comfortable.

Bed and pillow was not comfortable for me, I personally prefer firmer bed and pillows.

Awesome hotel. Definitely worth it as we only paid $220/night for a junior suite. Gym was well equip and staff were very friendly/ helpful.

The internet rates. $0.55/Hour or a daily rate of $792. The actually daily rate is $24.50 but this is only for 500-100Mb download which you use in 20 mins meaning you have to keep recharging $24.50. Absolutely the most expensive internet I've ever experienced. I had to go across the road to the Olsen Hotel you use their $9/day unlimited download access. Very inconvenient for a business trip.

Credit card fees I was slugged with when settling account...first time I've had to pay more than what was on the letsbookhotel.com sheet I printed out.
The staff were amazing. The room was really nice and it was a really comfortable stay. The amenities in the room were really helpful and we loved the big mirror in the room! :)
It was kind of hard to find inside the como building...but that was probably due to our retardness more than anything...

Housekeeping of room during stay needs to be improved. Bathroom especially not cleaned well and carpet very dusty.

Overpriced and a bit outdated. The day we checked out there was a back log with taxis with over a 2 hour wait, I was disappoint that the staff didn't try to do a bot more to assist us. We were at risk if missing our flights and I just paid over $1100 for 3 nights of accomodation. I expected a bit more.

This is the stingiest hotel i have experienced for the room rate that you charge you give nothing to the guesst. No free wifi except a lousy 30 minutes in the lobby, no free bottled water except 2 bottles on the first stay. Most hotels allow up to 3pm check out but not this hotel.The Como owners should wake up and see what their competition are doing and current practice all over the world. This hotel is still in the old horse and buggy era. I would not stay or recommend this hotel again.
