  I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... 别人怎么说 » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  My husband and I got married at Yester Grange with our reception at Mountain Heritage on the 30 October. We had about 60 guests and many said it was a surreal experience because the view was so amazing. The hotel staff, Dean especially, ensured that the whole event went off so smoothly. Dean was absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this venue enou... 别人怎么说 » gh. The whole day was so magic. We were so well looked after, the food was fantastic, the wine great, the rooms clean. Even the older Greek relatives - Loved the prepared fire-place, view fantastic from both our room and the dining room. Staff were helpful (and lovely to our 4 year old), and it was only a short walk to the shops, and bus to explore the area. Kept the historical feel but it's been well maintained...and modernised with fast efficient air-con etc. We have already recommended this place to our friends, and will be back!

  The location was perfect. 3 Sisters and Aboriginal Culture Centre a short walk away, as is a fish and chip shop and a winning little restaurant "Pins on Lurline". The bus stop is right outside the side entrance, and the $50 explorer bus pass took us to all the sights, including city buses to farther afield, plus discounts on local attractions! Breakfast supplement, bu - The hotel was in easy walking distance of the Three Sisters which was ideal as car parking charges there can be quite expensive. An ideal location for exploring the Blue mountains. We were there when the forest fires were raging but everything was under control. There were many fire fighters staying at the hotel and loads of fire trucks parked around the streets so we felt quite safe. Added to the excitement really.

The beds where very big, the room was completely well equipped with all kitchen staffs, and the location was very good. The wifi access was very good and the place clean. Also the rooms where well acclimated. I reallyrecomend it.

We loved the furniture, the fireplaces, pool table and the bar. We enjoyed a drink there before heading out to dinner. The location is ideal, beside the RSL and a quick walk to the centre of town.

  The staff there were so accommodating, we felt as though we were staying with their family (in a good way)! The rooms were recently renovated and were fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the heating blankets were such a welcome treat for the chilly winter's nights. Breakfast was fabulous and very affordable.   The staff were great! Very happy for a chat and accomodating of any requests. The room was pleasant with a big enough bath, different sized pillows (thank you for the option!) and cosy reverse cycle air con. The lounge area was well used by us.   Lovely, peaceful little guesthouse, with a cosy/homely feel to it. I was also happy that my request for gluten-free bread at breakfast could be catered for, and that it was OK for me to bring my own gluten-free cereal to breakfast. Very nice cooked breakfast plenty to eat ,plenty of choice. Lovely staff, we arrived a bit early but were made welcome. Little bit out of town but the shuttle bus runs untill 5:30 (ish ) pm. Next door to the chocolate factory which is a cafe that makes hand made chocolates! We enjoyed our stay.
