We liked the room outside the pool (223) rather than the room we stayed in on 5/6/2013. It was perfect location (both room and hotel) and lovely and clean and comfortable. We had two meals (dinner on 5/6 and breakfast on 16/5) both were very nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. Town bus stops outside and goes to town, town beach and Cable Beach. Hotel has two swimming pools for cooling off. Both restaurant on site and Irish pub with great food. Close to Matso's for beers and food.
所有评语 » Food was fresh and well prepared but menu was a bit boring. Staff were friendly and looked after us well. Facilities were good, as is the location. Swimming pools are a good size, environment relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially when booking tours and activities. Room was very quiet at night, clean and comfortable, with a great balcony to sit outside and soak up the sunshine. I liked everything about the Mercure And I want to thank them for allowing me to stay longer as you over friendly sand flies which which made my legs swell I will see you in two years time. I was there in August last year and I found everything perfect from the staff the rooms I liked it so much I have booked it again for next year to stay the night after the Kimberly cruise. Just a nice place to say, location is superb, facilities excellent and the staff are highly professional, yummy hamburgers to boot. the facilities were excellent and the staff and resort were great with everything within reach of were you wanted to go. Location and staff very helpfull nice and clean although dated. The pool which I did not use. The distance to Matso's. Beds were comfy and it was a budget option. Rooms were nice for the money and location was good to the town centre. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Internet expensive and relatively slow. Dark floor covering made room too dark. Flooring got very damp from condensation when we turned air conditioning off - very slippery. No complaints at all. On arrival the water jug was in the fridge but it was empty. Would have been nice after a long journey to have some cold weter in there. The No Diving signs are on the pool fence, so when you are facing the pool the warning sign is behind you. This could be hazardous and I suggest you put these signs on the posts that hold up the shade sail. Found the dining area a bit like a cafeteria inside. dining room layout. Nothing really Its was what we expected. Should of been advised the restaurant was closed at night had to walk around to the Irish pub for voucher. A snack in the room would have been nice (e.g. some biscuits)as there was no coffee shop. Finding reception at night for the first time is hard. The front of building is poorly lit and no reception sign makes finding Broome Mecure reception very difficult. Steven Peyor. Nothing. The reception service. When we checked in the girl barely looked at us and couldn't have been more bored. When we enquired about a television guide for the room later, another lady was on reception and she didn't know and didn't initiate trying to find one for us. Poor customer service. The shower would not run very much at all...only a trickle (I must say that we did not ask for it to be remedied). Also, the hairdryer would not work...once again I did not ask for it to be fixed My fault I know!. little noisy at times. Not enough light in the ensuite. i ordered room service, but there were conversational problem so i couldn't get it, even though I had waited more than an hour. we were not told the water would be off, maybe you could have supplied bottle water. Our 2nd stay was overnight and we were in a room in the old part out the back. We dont believe this room was up to scratch, no fans bedside lights not operative,bathroom not up to standard . Perhaps not enough parking space. damaged furniture. lack of maintainence (toilet system playing up). Mould marks on ceiling, splash marks on walls. Broken glass behind bathroom door. I thought the in-room breakfast service was pricey for what it was but I was ,most discouraged by Reception staff who were inept with levying charges (breakfast charged for twice on initial account) and then wanted to debate the charges before struggling to finally put through the final (amended) amount. I also object to the 1.5% levy on the use of Visa Cards. This is the 21st Century and its the way people pay bills these days! Cheesh!. A bit tired. cob webs in room, no fresh towels. Nothing really, the place just seemed a little down at heel. small size of room, poor maintentance - bathroom door did not shut. Room very shabby. Curtains uneven in length.Torn base to bed with no cover. Ceiling large amounts of mould.dirty around taps. Looked like a $60 motel room. Food only ok and quite expensive. Old and run down bad building design who ever designed it must of been to prison cause that's what it feels like. The room. It was dated. Pillows extremely old and paper thin. Smelt like rank disinfectant. On arrival told if we wanted to shower in the morning we couldn't, there would be no water, so shower before midnight. No offer of discount for the inconvenience. I would never stay or recommend this property. Well past it's prime. The bathroom shower curtain was mouldy & this is inexcusable due to the cheapness of replacements. The paint was peeling badly on the back of the bathroom door as well. It gave a shabby impression. My neighbours were noisy and the wing I stayed in felt more like a backpackers than a hotel. Glad I only booked one night!. First thing was that they had no record of the booking from letsbookhotel.com? Strange as I had a confirmation email when I arrived. Luckily the place wasn't busy as it is the start of the off season.
