I was a bit perturbed about being met in the street as the apartment I was in was not administered by the reception or management of the building, but this did not prove to be any issue at all in the end.   I liked the proximity of the Ensenada to the main shopping area of this beachside suburb. I rarely had to use my vehicle as the beach was virtually at my doorstep as well as a variety of restaurants, hotels and cafes. The hotel was in a fantastic location 5 minutes walk if that from local shops, restaurants, the beach and tram so you didn't have to drive every where!
