On this occasion, we arrivedat 3am (due to an unforeseen delay), but were greeted within seconds by a friendly, cheerful staff member who made us feel right at home and even came outside in the rain to help us find a parking spot right outside our room.   Loved the building, it is in a historic area of North Adelaide as we noticed heaps of markers on houses on our walks. I am a WW2 buff and would have loved to have known more about the history of the hotel. Very quiet area and just the basic - The hotel is close to Adelaide and has a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. There is a large park with childrens playground opposite which is ideally suited to families with small children or for those wanting to take a little exercise. I have stayed here before and will definately stay here again.

  Being a late book in, (10pm) and after a brief phone call, arragements had been made for me to get access to my room. The room had the A/C turned on, so after a 11 hour bus trip in 40 degrees temp., this was really appreciated. The room (4), was clean, and everthing was there for a good nights sleep.   Great hostel with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The Wednesday night BBQ and killer pool competition was so much fun. I loved this hostel because of how nice and accommodating the overall atmosphere was.
