A quaint little bed and breakfast style inn on a quiet neighborhood street. It’s only a few blocks from the main street, but it only takes ~10 minutes. A full grocery is just 2 blocks away, so if you don’t want to go downtown, you can pick up a few things there. The brothers have a tremendous little place and go out of their way to see to your comforts and needs. When I come back to Ushuaia, this is where I will stay !!!.
所有评语 » Nice small family hotel not far from the main street. Jeremias and his brother Mattias are very attentive persons doing all possible for lovely stay of guests. Jerremias gives you all necessary information by mail or at arrival about excursions, city, parks, taxi etc. You feel him like a friend, not employee. Great thanks to the family for rooms, breakfast, politness, comfort. Dream to come back. Valle Frio is set about 5 blocks back from the main strip of San Martin, Quiet, Peaceful location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and harbour. Jerimias was extremely helpful, airport transfer provided in both directions and when I needed a dentist he drove me around until we found one open. Very pleasant Guest House, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Before arrival staff sent me options on how I can schedule my visit to terra del fuego and also gave me advice on arrival. That was very convenient. Room is spacious and comfortable and warm comfy bed good wifi signal one of the best breakfasts I had in Argentina very quiet. Breakfast was simple but very nice, good location easy stroll to the main street, clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms with quaint decor. Staff are attentive and helpful and gave us good restaurant recommendations for dinner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Free Wi Fi was available as well as a complimentary breakfast. I would highly recommend Valle Frio. My second time at the Valle Frio Hotel. Very nice staff, good position in the city center, at 5 mins from the main streets. I recommend +++. Cozy place, ran by two nice (English speaking) guys who are happy to help you with anything. Close to the main street San Martin. outstanding service! good breakfast.....i can't say enough about the quality of this hotel and I am a picky person. Everything was terrific!! We loved our stay here, the staff was so helpful and professional. The family could not have been more helpful. Nothing I can think of. Not all the staff speaks english, so if you have questions it's better to ask them in the first part of the day quite a walk up hill from the main street (10 min), however it's a good workout. Or you can take a taxi for app. 15 pesos from the central street if feel tired. You have to ring the bell at the front door to get in, the bell is quite loud and could be disruptive if other guests are sleeping or resting ( we weren't bothered by it but could easily have been if other guests were night owls ). Makes it very secure though. slight hike up the hill to get to the hotel, but we didn't mind at all.
