Everything! This is the best hidden secret in Paradise Valley. The grounds are gorgeous and what a place for a wedding, coming from 20 years experience as a Event Planner. Get the king room. It is not a room it is not a suite, it is amazing. I have been traveling the past couple months and this by far is the best room I have ever stayed in. It is 1000 sq. Ft. Seriously! It has a full living room, a huge bedroom, awesome awesome beds and linens, the bathrooms still have the cast iron tubs. I rem.
alla recensioner » The young man at the front desk was very nice -- same one night and morning. The location was only about 2 miles from my meeting site. I arrived in the evening and left fairly early in the AM so I didn't have the opportunity to explore the site, but my suite was nice and had a small patio with chairs which would have been a pleasant place to read the morning paper if I had time. I didn't notice a restaurant???. The staff was awesome... we were upgraded to the king suite with no extra charge... it was so relaxing,, quite,, beautiful... it was our first year anniversary.. and we've decided that we will stay there every year for our anniversary!! Super place!!. Large rooms, clean, friendly, quiet, close to ammenities. A little oasis amongst big frill resorts. Please do not sell to provide yet another overpriced, large, resort. We have found a little piece of something special in this small, quaint resort. We loved the quietness of the resort . It was so peacefull to sit on the patio and watch the quail and woodpeckers. The room made us feel like we were in a home rather than in a motel room. We will be back. Very comfortable beds, quiet, spacious and clean rooms, affordable, pet friendly, beautiful and clean grounds, friendly staff, close to restaurants and shopping. this is old style scottsdale motel. lovely, mature grounds. amenities were low key but comfortable. an aging beauty in need of a little tlc. The location close to AJ's Gourmet Foods was great. The little fridge and microwave were all we needed. just nice little bunglas great value and very clean close to old town and high end shopping :). Great loction in Scottsdale. Clean well maintaines resort and rooms. Excellent value!. The grounds are attractive, location is really good, desk clerk was very helpful. the peace and quiet , the atmosphere, the overall style of the room and grounds. Location, quiet, dog friendly,. The property was older but had character. The decor was pleasant. The staff were nice but the groundskeeper left around 9 pm so no one to call except an on call person for emergencies. Daytime staff very friendly and offered a free room upgrade should we come again. Location was excellent. Secluded and pretty cozy. The pool area was very nice. Value relative to competition. Anyone else to know about it. our rooms showed signs of deferred maintenance that made it a bit musty smelling. The Smoke Tree sign at the front is not well lit and very difficult to see at night. We drove by several times and could not find it. It's a little run down, could have used better lighting in the room, just a tad bit shabby. grounds were not well kept and a few maintenence items were needed. The air cognitioner wouldn't cool the room down for most of the night and in Phoenix that matters. We finally realized it had been preset to an energy save mode at 2 am and could cool off. There were other people's hairs stuck along the shower wall and along with the tub not draining well made us feel we were in a dirty bathroom. The cottage we stayed in was in dire need of updating. The toilet ran and the furnishings were just plain old. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was small and no room for toiletries. Facility was tired.
