  The hotel room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed and a very big flat-screen television and sitting area. The breakfast (included in the nightly rate) was great and provided a variety of hot and cold items.   After reading other reviews I was nervous about booking but needed a budget friendly hotel for our trip. This was definatly budget friendly. On check in Tony was very friendly. He gave us maps of attractions and the area and directions on several other occasions. The room we received did have a musty smell when we got in but it was nothing overbea... vad folk säger » ring. We did have a light bulb out in the bathroom but the others were enough to make up for the one that was out. - I was extremely impressed with the courteous staff and the clean spacious lobby when you walk in. The free breakfast was a surprise in that it had a very good selection of different items to choose from. The rooms were not incredibly new, but there was no smoke smell and everything in the room (even the bathroom) was spotless. The rooms were quiet and comfortable.

We had a problem with a pizza delivery company and he right a way call us to tell us know about them. Jesus also asked us if we needed anything to let him know he would go get it or if we needed to go to Wal-Mart yall would take us.   Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed. Excellent breakfast with belgian waffle station, breakfast tacos (... vad folk säger » with eggs, refried beans, salsa and cheese), fruit, cereal, bagels/pastries, yogurt, juice/coffee - filled us up all the way until dinner! Staff were - The location is the key factor, actually next door to the Alamo and very close to the Riverwalk area and the Mall. Felt safe to walk in these areas even late at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a standard room in an old historic hotel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was good. The city bus from the airport stops just four blocks from the Crockett, an easy walk passing over the Riverwalk,

  I met a friend for a week away and we both loved the hotel and its staff. We especially liked the shuttle service for airport and local transport to dining spots and the access to down town and the area via the highways that were very close.
