  Everything was wonderful! The room, breakfast area, & grounds were immaculate. Every staff member we ran into was extremely friendly & helpful. The staff in the breakfast kitchen was delightful & never made us feel rushed...even though we often lingered past the posted 10:00 end of breakfast time! We also liked the location of the Inn.

  Stayed for one night as we were on the road touring the state. After over a week of eating cakes for breakfast (which isn't nice if you're from the UK) Judy's breakfast was freshly cooked and just what we needed. The room was massive, clean, comfortable bed, air con, and the bathroom was clean with fresh towels. Parking was great as we could park ... vad folk säger » on the drive. We did a winery tour of Newton Vineyard which is one of the closest to Judy's, but up a mountain. Judy was so friendly and accommodating - The biggest plus was Judy. She is very kind and attentive to your needs. She loves to help out. Judy's breakfast was very good and hearty. Also, I loved walking out the front door to the amazing vineyard view. The bedroom is spacious and the photos on line represent what you will get.

  The staff was amazing, with the exception of the housekeeper. The Hotel St. Helena was built in the 1800's and is quite beautiful. Gorgeous antiques everywhere! The hotel is located in the heart of St. Helena and is centrally located. (It's minutes from the Culinary Institute of America.) We did enjoy our stay overall. - The hotel was extremely well maintained and preserved to the period of construction but they also added sufficient modern amenities like HD flat-screen tv and free wireless internet.   We loved the friendliness of the staff and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The back of the hotel in the garden rooms were very quiet and we slept very well. The location of the hotel was good, around a mile to the centre and walking distance to many vineyards which meant we didn't have to worry how to get back after ten glasses of wine (Del D... vad folk säger » otto Caves were very generous). The pool and spa were wonderful to have a dip after breakfast and after along day of wine tours. Really great motel, r - When departing we left in the bedroom (34B) a wallet, with money, credit cards, and driver licence. We contacted the office by phone, and asked them to look for the wallet. Fifteen minutes later we phoned again, and were told that the wallet was waiting in the office. When we picked it up nothing was missing : what a relief! And a testimony to the honesty of the maids and the efficiency of the office staff. When we next visit St. Helena we shall stay again at El Bonita.
