We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace. Room was super-clean and all ammenities were present, ie water coffee, special soaps etc. Very comfortable beds. Everything was top notch. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable and had answers to all questions.

We loved the cleanliness of this Inn. Typically you will find clean rooms while traveling. Something you 'don't' always find though is cleanliness on route to your room. Well, this place was the exception to that. From entering through the door of the Inn, to walking through the halls, to using the elevator, to using the stairs . . . this Inn was clean. The facility has a wonderful gym and indoor swimming pool which will draw us back the next time we are in the area looking for a place to stay. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, coffee, etc.
The room was clean, spacious, attractive, and the bathroom was large.
We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. Good value and great tasting food. Staff was friendly and considerate.
All in all a great stay.

The location was fantastic - a historic, listed building at the heart of the city with excellent transportation links. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Hotel amenities were excellent - we particularly appreciated the Starbucks in the lobby. The staff were courteous and helpful, and early check-in which was great as we arrived a couple of hours ahead of schedule.
