  The staff was very friendly and professional. The location is nice, safe, and convenient to the interstate. The rooms were comfortable and it's always so nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The room and bathroom were both clean in very good condition.   I was bringing my son back after the Easter weekend and didn't want to drive back home that evening. I also didn't want to spend a lot for basically just a night's sleep. We usually stay at the Atherton but when I went online they wanted $30.00 more for a room than than the Days Inn (that's my gas $ amount for my drive home!). I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the front desk staf - I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.

  Location, on the gps- does not take you directly to hotel.. Loved the breakfast, However the staff was unable to keep up with the demand. Very comfy beds and nice clean rooms!   It was very clean. Loved the window seat. Continental breakfast was good. Close to city of Pittsburgh. Nice that it had a mini fridge/freezer. - The Hotel in clean and quiet the location was good for when need to be at in Pittsburgh.We enjoyed our stay.Thank y'all Mr Dallas Hanson.

  I was quite concerned after reading the mixed reviews, however there was an event that took 8500 rooms in Philly with many hotels sold out and choices were extremely limited. Microtel is a great choice if you just want a clean bed and bathroom and easy train access into Philly.
