We were surprised to find the Victorian Farmhouse was deserted; we eventually discovered that we had to check in at the Road Creek Inn up the road. We were offered a room there instead which was superb.
We got a better room than we booked. Without any additional cost. We got a breakfast although the booked room was described as "without any food". And the hotel has a soul.

I iked the concept of it and it was quiet and that there was only one other person there.
The price was a huge plus!.
Great house. Very reasonable price. Quiet location. Sitting on the porch watching the storm blow in was great.

Cute place. Great location, especially for visiting Capitol Reef
National Park. The house is surrounded by fields and very quite. A true

Not much. Being over 100 years old has its issues, but they pale in comparison to the overall quality of the facility and the experience there.
I had trouble finding it; better signage would have been appreciated. I had trouble opening the door when I left too.
The trade off for a very quiet location/town was a lack of options for eating out. This was a minor issue and we had a great trip to Duck Lake for dinner which was suggested by our very nice host with the awesome scooter.
We liked it all.
Had to go quite a ways away for food.
As the manager admitted, it's in need of some maintenance. It
hadn't been checked for cleaning since the last guests, so there
were dead flies and some areas that needed vacuuming, etc. Biggest gripe
was the two beds in the main floor bedroom. One sagged in the middle and
the other was on the verge of doing the same.
I was glad there were no more people to share the farm house with. It would be uncomfortable that way.
