  The staff at the hotel were so courteous and friendly, giving you that aloha spirit. The pool the kids loved so much. For me, it was home away from home. I was surprised to run into a few workers that are good friends that I knew for a long time. They were so gracious and asked if I needed anything.   The hotel was central to the rest of the Island. Kiki was very helpful in responding to our questions and our wants to see as much as we could in 7 days. The hotel staff in total were friendly and helpful.   Excellent place full of greenery with really helpful staff as well. They even lent us the Guidebook for Kauai for us to use! Excellent location!Very close to airport and from where you can take the helicopter for a tour!! We usually stay a couple weeks a year on the south side, then spend the last couple nights here to avoid the traffic to airport and take in the local restaurants. Any traffic accident can close the main highway from south side for hours and you miss your flight.

  Location is fabulous. No need for an upgrade, all views are great. Stayed in room 2116, spacious, clean, pleasant feel. Wifi worked extremely well in the room. Breakfast is worth the money and the Friday crab buffet is to die for.   Good motel considering that it was the cheapest option in this part of the island. Staff is super nice and helped us a lot. We couldn't find a taxi and the lady staying in the reception at night told us to go to sleep and not to worry about it. In the morning we had a cab waiting for us. The hotel is centrally located and on a road that is quiet yet close to everything. We extended our stay and stayed longer than we planned.

  We enjoyed the outside bbq grilles nearly every night. Found a great fresh fish market in Hanalei, called Hanalei Dolphin, behind the restaurant there. Close to the airport but no airplane noise, close to shopping in Kapa'a, fun pools here and next door.   The hotel has a great location. It is located on a beach, about 10 minutes from the airport, and about equal distance to the end of the highway in the north and to the west. Passing in front of the hotel is a pedestrian walkway on which one can walk to a small commercial center for dining and shopping. There is also a concrete sidewalk along the beach for those who enjoy walking as well as a long beach front for those - The room was available 2 hours early and 2 hour late check out no charge. Comps of show tickets and food were unexpected and great. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations.
