  Unbeatable location on the Strip: walking distance to all the attractions, and quite close to the Bellagio fountain in particular. The room was clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. Everything was nice, and very good value for the money. One thing that deserves a particular mention is the excellent free Wi-Fi (both in-room coverage and the... vad folk säger » speed were very good, it appears the motel has some 20 hotspots). The buffet breakfast was an added plus, and so was the friendly service at the rece - We were able to drop our bags off before checking in, the pool(s) and hot tub(s) were great and open 24/7 (except for during a rain storm of course) . Not sure if this is a plus or a minus but this hotel is extremely family friendly which was not what we expected. It's also around the corner from the start of the strip (luxor/mgm grand area) and while "around the corner" in Vegas is still pretty far, the location was great for the price. Also room service was always super quick and friendly.

  The room was very comfortable. The fridge was a great advantage and so was the complimentary coffee. The hotel is close to downtown Las Vegas and there is a good shuttle bus to the Strip, the bus to the airport stops at the corner of the street. If you want to get married then the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel is right next door, great entertainme... vad folk säger » nt value! - It isn't one of the huge resort hotels where you have to wait 5 mins for an elevator, then wait while the elevator stops at every floor and you have 35 stories to go, to be followed by an incredibly long walk down a dark hallway to finally reach your room, only to discover that your key card doesn't work and you have all the way back to the front desk.

  The desk clerk at check in was the nicest man I have ever had the pleasure to work with at check in. He was warm, smiling, took care of problems in the reservation, answered phones enthusiastically, made recommendations that were great, and was VERY clear about key instructions like Internet passwords.   Short walk to Freemont Street Experience and downtown casinos. Very clean and quiet. Good value for the money and the staff was very nice. I would stay there again. - Management was freindly anf curtious. we were in Vegas for a wedding and had 3 families with about 6 children, they were very occomidating to use.

  The price was excellent for two adults staying two nights in Las Vegas!! We spent most of our time at the Mandalay Bay Resort where most of my family was gathered for my neice's wedding. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were.   From the moment I walked in to the reception the staff just smiled and was super-friendly. Got help when i neede to make phonecalls and I was able to do a very late check-out. Rooms were clean, pillows very comfortable and size of room was good. I liked my stay and can def recommend this.
