  The view from the ocean side rooms was spectacular. The check in staff (Wendy) did a great job checking us in with a long line, she was very friendly and helpful. The room was remodeled and very bright and cheery, the white bedding was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We made the decision to stay over in Hilo at the last minute and i... vad folk säger » t was the only place that was available and aren't sorry that we decided to stay there. - - Nice ocean-view corner room with wrapping balcony - Clean, well-maintained, quiet room - Good location to the airport, town, and access to roads out of town (especially to volcanoes) - Ample parking - We'd seen a fair number of negative reviews, but are very glad we tried the hotel anyway; had no issues
