  It was our first time with my friend in New York and the hotel was perfect for us as it was 10 minutes walk to time square. We would walk easily from time square to the hotel after 12am. The room was small but we loved that it was perfectly clean. We were hardly in the room as we would leave for breakfast at 7am then leave for our sightseeing and... vad folk säger » shopping and we always came back to the room after 12am so the size of the room did not bother us. We enjoyed the hot breakfast especially the cheese - The room was confortable, the matress, pillows and sheets were perfect. Well maintained, all furniture, carpets, wallpaper, courtains, bathroom, lamps were in good condition. It wasn't noisy or at least it was not a problem for me (I was on floor 11) The WiFi is high speed and, at least in my room, the coverage was perfect.   When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around.   The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

We couldn't check in til 4pm but not a problem as we left our luggage there so we were able to start our tour of New York. After hours having to use your room key to get past the door security officer then also to make the lift work makes you feel safe.   My partner and I spent 3 nights at The Manhattan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with decent bathroom facilities. The hotel also provided free WiFi in the lobby. The location could not have been any better - very close to Times Square, Central Park, various restaurants... vad folk säger » and the subway. We wouldn't hesitate to book with The Manhattan again and we would highly recommend the hotel to our family and friends! - I was very impressed with the hotel. It was better than I though being in nyc . I would recommend everyone to stay there. Shopping was rt at the door . Eating also entertainment was rt there. I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The kids enjoyed themselves ,first time in nyc. My brother was with me and he only stay at the Hilton when he travel, but he stayed with me and rated this hotel as very good and that says a lot coming from him.

  The rooms were beautifully appointed in contemporary tasteful decor. Comfortable seating. Great flat screen TV. Bed was super comfortable and linens were really elegant. Room service was amazing - My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction, and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

  Travelling as family with two older children 21 and 18, we chose the one bedroom suite with two double beds (most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in). The suite also had a bed settee in the lounge area. The suite was spacious and very comfortable with super TV's in bedroom and lounge, not that we spent much time watching the tv! We used the fridge - From the moment we entered the kimberly hotel in new york we were greeted with smiles from the receptionist. Our plane arrived in early so we knew check in was at around 3 o clock. So we were prepared to drop our bags and head off to check out the sights but to our surprise the room was ready for us when we got there which was fantastic. Really from there on the staff were great they even sent me up a birthday cake for my birthday:-) The hotel was beautiful the bed was amazing so cosy and soft.
