  The rooms were beautifully appointed in contemporary tasteful decor. Comfortable seating. Great flat screen TV. Bed was super comfortable and linens were really elegant. Bathroom setup was fantastic. The shower was the best I've ever had. Wish I could take it home with me. It was a rainshower type with great pressure and easy to turn on and off. Room service was amazing - My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction, and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

  This was our first trip to the USA and New York.The staff were friendly and very efficient. Started with Peter who radioed our arrival to reception even before we were out of the taxi. Together with Caesar on the door they were always there with advise on destinations and restaurants, and treated us like we were family.   Location is great. Staff was very helpful. We were sent to a room initially that had been cleaned but then it looked like someone had come afterwards to shower and dress (used razor in shower, empty perfume bottle, towel and robe used, etc.) The staff was very apologetic, sent us to a better room and sent up a bottle of red wine. Restaurant was very good, but my son had a burger the last night (and raw oysters) and he threw-up an - Waking up to a view of High Line Park and the Empire State Building. Comfortable bed, quiet despite being in the middle of the city and great shower. The location was perfect...close to the Village, Meatpacking District, and Chelsea. The video that plays in the elevator...what a creepy and great touch. Everyone was mesmerized by it! Patio on the ground floor and restaurants are great touches, especially as each have a different feel, although our service was really slow even though it wasn'
