  This hotel is absolutely wonderful- a breath of fresh air. From the time we arrived early to the time we checked out the entire stay was so easy. The staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly, the rooms are amazing and the rooftop bar has the most brilliant views. Wine hour every afternoon is also a nice little perk to staying here! It's close to Times Square and local neighbourhoods in which there are plenty of great restaurants and bars, but not too close tha - We had a terrific view from our Hudson Suite of the Macy's July 4th fireworks; it was the most important factor in our choice on ink48 and we weren't disappointed. The Hudson Suite was well-designed and filled with light - quite different from other Manhattan suites we have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised how close we were to the theater district.

In room Ironing Board, iron, umbrella, flashlight, safety Deposit box (rather large), hair dryer, plush bathrobes, Hairdryer, flat large-screen tv, a Desk, two chest of drawers. A good restaurant and a discount on Breakfast - Lots of 1920s - 1930s character which to me is essentially NYC's architectural heritage. Friendly, helpful staff all around, including room maid service. Relaxed but organized atmosphere. Doormen value-added service with 'touch of style'. Terrific location near to the Lincoln Centre and Metropolitan Art Gallery. Great variety of reasonably priced restaurants nearby including fine dining at the Nice Matin in the hotel itself to first rate sandwiches at the Amsterdam Deli across the street. E
